Although the car was on 4 wheels and the engine was
in I had yet to fit the driver's side panel as I had to cut the exhaust
hole. To get the position just about right I had decided to attach
the down pipes and use a template that I could adjust and when correct
transfer to the side panel and cut the hole out. The pictures
below show this process. Although when I fitted the exhaust later
I did need to slightly enlarge the hole it was just about right 1st
time.
